Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you (or the organisation you represent, "Customer") and AnyHook ("AnyHook", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of anyhook.net, in.anyhook.net, and all associated APIs and services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
AnyHook is a webhook relay service. You configure an inbound URL (https://in.anyhook.net/{user-slug}/{app-slug}) at your webhook sender (e.g. Stripe, GitHub, Shopify). AnyHook receives the incoming HTTP request, validates the sender's signature, queues the event, and forwards it to your configured destination endpoint with automatic retries, a full event log, and one-click replay.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us immediately at gba3124@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
- If you register on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
- One account per person or organisation unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Process, relay, or store content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
- Circumvent, reverse-engineer, or probe the security of AnyHook's infrastructure.
- Introduce malware, spam, or excessive load that degrades service quality for other customers.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without prior written agreement.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including data-protection laws.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements, with or without notice depending on severity.
4. Plans, Quotas, and Billing
Plans
AnyHook offers Free, Pro, and Scale plans as described on our pricing page. Plan details (event limits, retry counts, retention windows) are incorporated into these Terms by reference and may change with notice as described in Section 11.
Free plan
The Free plan is provided at no charge with a daily cap of 100 events. Events exceeding the monthly quota are queued to the next billing cycle — they are not silently dropped.
Paid plans
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period. Metered overage (events beyond your included quota) is charged at $0.90 per 1,000 events and added to your next invoice.
Taxes
All prices are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you downgrade or cancel mid-cycle, access continues until the end of the current paid period. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion for verified service outages caused by AnyHook.
Payment failure
If a payment fails, we will retry and send email notices. After 7 days of non-payment, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan until payment is resolved.
5. Data Handling
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Key commitments:
- Webhook payload data is stored only for the duration of your plan's retention window.
- We do not use your payload data to train machine learning models or build advertising profiles.
- Signature secrets are encrypted at rest and never exposed in logs or API responses.
6. Service Availability and SLA
AnyHook targets high availability but does not guarantee a specific uptime percentage during the current MVP phase. We operate a public status page at status.anyhook.net which reflects real-time service health.
Scheduled maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance where feasible. Emergency maintenance may occur without advance notice to protect service integrity.
AnyHook is a delivery relay — we are not responsible for events dropped by your webhook sender before they reach our inbound URL, nor for failures caused by your destination endpoint being unavailable beyond your plan's retry limit.
7. Intellectual Property
AnyHook and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including the software, design, trademarks, and documentation. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own internal purposes.
You retain ownership of all data you send through the Service. You grant AnyHook a limited licence to process your data solely to operate and improve the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: AnyHook's total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to AnyHook in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100. In no event will AnyHook be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
10. Termination
- By you: You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard settings or by emailing gba3124@gmail.com.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law.
- Upon termination, your event logs and payload data will be deleted within 30 days. Billing records are retained as required by law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice via email to your registered address and by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally within 30 days of written notice should be referred to binding arbitration or, where not permitted, the courts of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause limits either party's right to seek injunctive relief.
13. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and AnyHook regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- No waiver. Failure to enforce any provision does not waive the right to do so in the future.
- Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
